Hartzell Co-Sponsors Pilot Proficiency, Airshow Performers At AirVenture

Sean D. Tucker, Michael Goulian, And Matt Chapman All Fly Behind Hartzell Props

If you are one of the half a million visitors to EAA AirVenture 2016 or are piloting one of the 10,000 aircraft at the "world's greatest aviation gathering," in Oshkosh, WI, then the chances are pretty good that you will experience a propeller built by the world's leading propeller manufacturer.

Props by Hartzell Propeller are standard equipment on many of the world's leading piston and turbine airplanes and used extensively by backcountry fliers and experimental aircraft builders, the heart and soul of AirVenture, held July 25-31 at Wittman Regional Airport. And, if you attend and look upward during the many flying demonstrations, you will likely encounter precision flying by professionals that choose propellers from Hartzell for their performance, reliability and repairability.

Hartzell Propeller is co-sponsoring a wide range of aerobatic flight exhibitions during the show. The lineup includes three of the world's greatest aerobatic performers - aviation superstars Sean D. Tucker, Michael Goulian, and Matt Chapman - who will all be flying exciting afternoon exhibitions at Oshkosh. All three aerobatic performers will be flying with Hartzell's Claw propeller.

Also performing under the co-sponsorship of Hartzell will be JohnKlatt Airshows with Lt. Col. John Klatt and Jeff Boerboon flying the Jack Link's Screamin' Sasquatch Jet Waco.
Additionally, RedLine Air Shows will be performing sponsored in part by Hartzell Propeller.

Many of the performers will be holding autograph sessions with their aircraft sometime during the show at the Hartzell Propeller Exhibit, Booth 296-297. Hartzell Propeller will also display its latest composite technology props at its exhibit, including a swept-tip Trailblazer prop for experimental aircraft and a number of certificated aircraft models.

Moreover, pilots attending EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 can improve their flying skills or learn new ones at the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center, co-sponsored by Hartzell Propeller. The center is a skill-building resource and gathering area for those that want to develop their skills and network with other pilots.

The center will feature Tech Talks, Redbird flight simulators with IFR and VFR flight scenarios, and the opportunity to talk with certificated flight instructors about how to become safer and more proficient in many aspects of flying. The Pilot Proficiency Center will be open throughout the entire week of AirVenture. All programs in the facility are free with AirVenture admission.

Redbird Flight Simulations is providing 12 LD simulators, as well as a full-motion MCX and Cross Wind trainer, all with over 30 scenarios. The Tech Talks and flight scenarios are all eligible for FAA WINGS credits.
