Bell Helicopter Delivers First 407GX

New Helo Goes To Long-Time Customer in Mexico

The first  Bell 407GX has been delivered to a long-time Bell 407 customer, AVEMEX, S.A. de C.V., located in Toluca, Mexico. AVEMEX has been operating Bell 407 helicopters for nine years. "The delivery of the first Bell 407GX is the culmination of the promise that Bell Helicopter made at last year’s Heli-Expo when we introduced it to our customers,” said Larry D. Roberts, senior vice president, Bell Helicopter’s Commercial Business.

“Since its debut, we've had the opportunity to demonstrate the Bell 407GX around the world. We’ve received a resounding vote of confidence from our current customers as well as many new customers who selected Bell 407GX to add to their fleet,” Roberts said. “The Bell 407GX continues to gain momentum among helicopter operators generating significant orders since it was unveiled nearly one year ago.”

Mr. Antonio Villanueva took delivery of his new Bell 407GX on behalf of AVEMEX during a small ceremony at Bell Helicopter’s facilities in Fort Worth, Texas. The new Bell 407GX will be used for executive transport. “The Bell 407GX is perfectly suited for our missions,” said Mr. Antonio Villanueva. “We really like the versatility and reliability of the Bell 407 and, with the Garmin G1000H flight deck, it’s a great combination unique to Bell Helicopter,” he said.

Built on the success of the Bell 407, the 407GX is the only helicopter equipped with the innovative Garmin G1000HTM integrated glass flight deck, making it the most advanced light, single-engine rotorcraft on the market. The Bell 407GX’s integrated glass flight deck provides aircrews essential flight information at a glance for greater situational awareness, improved operational capability and increased safety.
