Sandel Goes East Coast

Opens East Coast Sales And Support Office in Charlotte

Noting the back-to-back successes of its ST3400 TAWS/RMI and previous-generation SN3308 EHSI, San Diego-area Sandel Avionics has opened an East Coast sales and support center at Concord Regional Airport, just minutes from downtown Charlotte, NC.

The new office is staffed by Product Support Specialists Mark Everhart and Charles Cranford and, working in conjunction with the company's West Coast headquarters, now enables Sandel to offer tech support to dealers, completion centers and OEM service centers from 8 am Eastern time through 5 pm Pacific time. The new Concord location will also be the home office for Sandel's Eastern Regional Sales Manager William Elliott.

With the recent TSO approval and announced shipping dates for Sandel's new SN3500 EHSI (right) --a turbine-class navigation system with an advanced display, 2,000-hour-rated backlight, and built-in upgradeability -- Sandel president Gerry Block said he decided that a second support center would be a natural step toward providing nationwide coverage for the company's dealers and customers.

"Since we're in the avionics business for the long term, this makes perfect sense in that we can enhance our product support for both of our current display systems, and also establish a broader industry presence for the introduction of some of our new avionics innovations later in the year," Block said.
