PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTION 91.137A(1), TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT DUE TO BLASTING ACTIVITY AT UNITED TACONITE IRON MINES. ONLY RELIEF AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS UNDER THE DIRECTION OF UNITED TACONITE COMMUNICATION ARE AUTHORIZED IN THE AIRSPACE AT AND BELOW 3000 MSL WITHIN 1 NAUTICAL MILES OF THE EVELETH (EVM) VOR/DME 333 DEGREE RADIAL AT 4 NAUTICAL MILES. UNITED TACONITE MINING COMPANY COMMUNICATION, TELEPHONE 218-780-6963, IS IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION. MINNEAPOLIS /ZMP/ ARTCC, TELEPHONE 651-463-5580, IS THE FAA COORDINATION FACILITY.
