Power Flow System Introduces Second-Generation Mooney Exhausts

Quieter Noise Levels Just One Benefit Of Tuned Systems

In response to customer feedback, Power Flow Systems has redesigned its FAA-approved tuned exhaust system developed for 200 HP Mooney aircraft (models E, F, and J).

PFS tells Aero-News the second generation system features several improvements that allow for easier installation, increased clearance to the alternate air door and oil cooler and improved cabin heat. The installation time for E and F models has been reduced to as little as three hours as result of the new design.

Also included with the second generation system is a more effective muffler, resulting in a much quieter cabin noise profile -- as much as 5db quieter in the cabin. There will be an upgrade pathway for existing Power Flow exhaust owners to convert to the quieter muffler and improved cabin heater.

The tuned exhaust systems developed by Power Flow are highly effective in enhancing fuel efficiency and increasing horsepower. The Power Flow exhaust provides performance gains of up to 7 knots in cruise speed and provides a fuel savings of up to 1.5 gallons per hour at current speeds. The system will also increase the rate of climb and service ceiling while reducing cylinder and oil temperatures.

Power Flow products come with a unique, 60-day money-back guarantee as well as an available two year/500-hour warranty.
