James Johnson Named ASA Director Of Aviation Training

Brings A Decade Or Experience In The Aviation Industry To The Position

James Johnson has been named Director of Aviation Training for Aviation Supplies & Academics, Inc. (ASA), a publisher of aviation books and the largest producer of pilot supplies in the United States.

James has over 10 years experience in the aviation industry working as a flight and ground instructor and corporate pilot before joining the ASA team in 2014. As a product specialist he has provided research for product development and support of aviation training curriculum and pilot supplies. James will continue to provide subject matter expertise to support the ASA product line and product development as well as lead the Customer Service team. When not in the office, you can find James participating in the circuit of aviation tradeshows.

James received his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with minors in both Aviation Safety and Airport Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument rating as well as Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor Certificates. "For me, aviation is second to none and one of the most exciting and evolving industries to be a part of. With ASA, I look forward to developing new and advanced training tools and curriculum to not only educate but challenge a new generation of pilots and aviation professionals."
