A Homecoming You Can Fly To

ERAU Festivities Include Parade, Fly-In, Athletic Events

Many alumni of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have their own special way of arriving for Homecoming in November -- at the controls of general aviation, military, corporate, vintage, and experimental aircraft. This year, their planes will be on display at the university's Fly-In event at Daytona Beach International Airport. Everyone's invited to this free event on Saturday, Nov. 6, to enjoy looking at the planes and chatting with the pilots. A special Kid Zone will keep younger children entertained.

Embry-Riddle's Homecoming events will take place Nov. 3-7 with the theme "Hollywood Homecoming: Riddle Rolls Out the Red Carpet." Getting into the spirit, students will show off their creativity at a talent show and in the "Movies in Motion" Homecoming parade.

The week also includes a full roster of athletic events - baseball, golf, soccer, volleyball - and of course the Homecoming basketball game.
