Upgraded: Mark Earle

New Aviation Director in COS

Mark Earle has been selected as Aviation Director for the Colorado Springs Airport (COS), replacing Gary Green, who retired on May 31, 2003.  Earle will join the City of Colorado Springs (CO) as the new Aviation Director beginning August 4, 2003.

Earle has worked as the Director of Aviation for Lubbock International Airport in Lubbock, Texas since 1995.  He has 22 years of aviation experience, the last 15 years of service dedicated to the field of airport management with the past 12 years in positions at the senior administrative level.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

Earle also served as Assistant Director of Aviation for McAllen-Miller International Airport in McAllen, Texas and as Operations Specialist for Richmond International Airport in Richmond, Virginia.  Earle graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

“Mark Earle will be a great addition to our city staff,” said City Manager Lorne Kramer, “and I’m confident that his skills, knowledge and expertise will help shape the demanding future for the Colorado Springs Airport.”
