As the FAA released its outline of proposed rulemaking for UAS operations, the White House released a memorandum to emphasize that UAS operations must comply with the laws dealing with personal privacy.

It looks like the courts in Seoul, South Korea have determined that it is possible to take hubris to the point of being a crime in what has been called the “Nut Rage” case. In December, the daughter of Korean Air's chairman, known as Heather Cho, ordered the flight she was on out of JFK to return to the gate so that the chief flight attendant could be removed from the plane. Ground has been broken on the Clay Lacy Aviation’s new South Campus, a $10 million, 6-acre expansion of its current headquarters facility at Van Nuys Airport, in California. Once the South Campus is completed in 2016, Clay Lacy Aviation’s new and existing facilities will generate over $31 million in lease and $2.5 million in property tax revenues over a 30-year term. All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
