Bad Champagne? Call the Cops!

Actually, it Was a Heads-Up Move by Alert FA

Northwest Airlines' Flight 1905, from Minneapolis to Denver Monday night, was met by the Denver PD. On board was a suspect: a bottle of 'champagne.'

An alert Flight Attendant, upon uncorking the bottle, noticed the 'bubbly' wasn't bubbly at all, and that it had a peculiar odor. Not wishing to take any chances (or poison, or at least disgust, any passengers), this FA, alerted the airport security, who, in turn, called the cops. The FBI also got involved, although just who called the feds isn't clear. [They're just everywhere, it seems.]

There was no cause for alarm, as it turned out. Some oenophiles on the force identified the bottle's contents as 'skunked' champagne. The flight was a quarter-hour late, because of the (in our opinion, totally appropriate) actions of this sharp crew member.
