Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance Receives Corporate Awards

Company Recognized For Innovation And Growth

Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance has received two Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) awards, the company announced Tuesday. They have been named the third fastest growing, privately-held company in Arizona, and presented with the ACE Innovation Award.

Kelly LoCascio, Angel MedFlight CEO, accepted the honors on behalf of the Scottsdale-based air ambulance company during the 16th annual ACE ceremony in Phoenix. “Innovation is the hallmark of our company," said LoCascio. "We continually strive to advance the air medical transportation industry through sophisticated training and advanced technology. Angel MedFlight’s success and growth can be attributed to our commitment to improvement. We are never satisfied with status quo; we are consistently raising our standards of patient care and service.”

Since the inception of Angel MedFlight in 2007, company president and founder Jeremy Freer has incorporated many innovations, some of which include hiring registered nurses as flight coordinators, establishing a legal department to assist patients with their insurance claims, providing elite training for medical personnel, and upgrading aircraft with advanced safety avionics and WiFi capability. “Receiving the ACE Innovation Award is especially meaningful to me because it highlights many of the reasons I started Angel MedFlight,” stated Freer. “When I was working as a flight paramedic during college I was frustrated with the inefficiency of the air medical transport process and I saw many opportunities for improvement. I designed the Angel MedFlight business model to better serve our patients, their families and case managers. Our patients’ care and safety is always our top priority.”

In addition to the Top 50 and 25 fastest-growing-company awards, three special awards are given each year including the Innovation Award.
