Tracking The Costs Of Owning A Plane
Conklin & de Decker has released the latest version of its
maintenance management software, MxManager®. Version 5.5
incorporates a number of changes and improvements for its users
including the expanded capabilities of its unique Aircraft
Maintenance Analysis System (AMAS).
AMAS® allows the maintenance director to compile and analyze
historical cost data associated with work orders for individual and
multiple aircraft. The report module allows analysis of parts and
labor costs by ATA chapters, individual work orders, task codes and
by year. For additional flexibility and analytical capabilities,
the maintenance director can export the same information into Excel
spreadsheets.
Inventory Management
MxManager® 5.5 allows maintenance personnel to query and
retrieve important inventory, bulletin and log book information
more quickly with the improved Search and Find feature. Accounting
also benefits from the new version as maintenance personnel can
assign account codes to individual line items on work orders,
purchase orders, and service orders.
Listening To Customers
Conklin & DeDecker said in their
release, "Version 5.5 is the second release in 2003 for
MxManager® and represents our continued commitment to customer
service and product improvement for the maintenance organization.
Many of our changes and improvements were a result of direct
feedback from our customers.
MxManager® customers say that the software is the same as
having a personal assistant in the maintenance department, an
assistant that decreases their daily workload. Available 24 hours a
day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, the maintenance management
software assists in the areas of maintenance tracking, purchasing,
inventory, work orders, and maintenance cost analysis. Most
significantly, MxManager® offers the maintenance organization a
quick and accurate means of answering important management
questions."
