FDC 4/2301 ZHU TX.. FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS NEAR THE DYKE IN TEXAS CITY, TX. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTION 91.137(A)(1) TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT DUE TO SHIP/BARGE COLLISION AND NAPTHA (FLAMMABLE PETROLEUM PRODUCT) SPILL. ONLY RELIEF AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS UNDER DIRECTION OF THE U.S. COAST GUARD ARE AUTHORIZED IN THE AIRSPACE AT AND BELOW 1500 FEET AGL WITHIN A 1 NAUTICAL MILE RADIUS OF 292306N/0944848W OR THE SHOLES /VUH/ VORTAC 020 DEGREE RADIAL AT 7 NAUTICAL MILES. LT CMDR SHERMAN (FEDERAL ON SCENE CMDR), 409-682-1257, IS IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION. MONTGOMERY COUNTY /CXO/ AFSS, 936-523-1642, IS THE FAA COORDINATION FACILITY.
