AeroSports Update: The Sport Aviation Expo Is Just Around The Corner

As We Head For The Christmas Weekend, We Are Also Looking Ahead To The Warm Weather At The Annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo In Sebring FL

We know you’ll want to attend the 12th annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo, set for January 20-23, 2016, on the Sebring Regional Airport, but just in case you’re having trouble making up your mind, here is just a brief outline of what you can expect this year.

One of the big draws to the sport aviation Expo is the ability for demonstration flights to take place all day long. The Sebring Airport is expansive and allows easy access for those that want to fly in to attend the event, and for those that want to try out some of the aircraft on display.

More than 130 exhibitors will be displaying the planes and products. At the Sebring Expo, you will have plenty of time and opportunity to talk with company representatives to get your questions answered.

You’ll also find 64 educational forums bring you a wealth of aviation information. From “Flight Testing 101” to “Flying a Paraglider” to “Airpark Living” to “Flying After Maintenance,” the Sebring Expo Forums will cover the gamut of aviation subjects. The Expo also will host fabric-covering workshops by Stewart Aircraft Fabric Systems, propeller-balancing workshops by ACES, and water ditching demonstrations by Aviation Survival Technologies (AST).

If you’ve been out of flying for a while and are attending the Expo to catch up with what’s going on, it’s a perfect opportunity to attend a Rusty Pilot Seminars, presented by AOPA Ambassador Jamie Beckett on Thursday and Saturday.

This is only the tip of the iceberg for what’s planned for the Sport Aviation Expo, and if you can’t make it to Sebring, ANN will be there in force to bring you day-to-day updates about what’s going on.
