Schweizer Aircraft
Corp. recently delivered a new 300C to Flycom of the Republic of
Slovenia. Jaroslav Najman of L.D. Aviation Prague, Schweizer's
distributor located in the Czech Republic, sold the aircraft to
Flycom. The helicopter, the first Schweizer 300C to be delivered to
Slovenia, will be used for light utility work and flight
training.
Flycom is a multifaceted commercial helicopter operation that
provides a wide variety of helicopter services including power line
inspections, pipeline inspections, aerial photography, aerial
filming, fire mapping, infrared inspections of buildings,
telecommunications, assistance with criminal apprehension and VIP
transport. Their new 300C is already committed to a five-year
aerial photography contract.
When asked for comments on their new 300C, Flycom president
Roman Bernard stated, "The impressive performance of the 300C is
ideal for flight training in the mountainous environment of
Slovenia. The cabin size and useful load will enable us to train
individuals who would otherwise not be able to train in other
manufacturers' helicopters and will allow us to perform light
utility work for less money than with a turbine helicopter. We are
proud to be the premier operator of the Schweizer 300C in
Slovenia."
"We are very excited to see Schweizer helicopters being sold
into the Republic of Slovenia helicopter market," said Paul
Schweizer, President "and we are sure that Flycom will be extremely
pleased with their new 300C. It is the ideal light helicopter for
performing their required missions in the mountain environment of
Slovenia."
In addition to the Model 300C, 300CBi and 333 helicopters,
Schweizer Aircraft Corp. manufactures the Fire Scout unmanned
helicopter, the SA 2-37B and RU-38B surveillance airplanes, and a
wide range of major airframe components under subcontract to the
U.S. aerospace industry. Schweizer sells and supports its aircraft
through a worldwide network of sales and service centers.
