Kutcher, Moore Tweet So-Called 'Emergency' Landing

Over-Temped Engine Has Actors All Atwitter

When the plane carrying Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore from Las Vegas to New York returned to McCarran International Airport and made an emergency landing, Kutcher naturally went to ... Twitter. Never let it be said that an attention-seeking actor(s) can't find a way to parlay a minor issue into something far more dramatic... no matter the true facts of the matter.

“[M]y plane just had to do an emergency landing,” Kutcher posted to his more than one million followers. “Engine over heated. fire trucks everywhere. good times.”

Not to be outdone, Moore tweeted "“[Y]ep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all.” She also posted a picture of the scene on her Twitter page. Later, she tweeted “taking off-take two."

Multiple news sources say none of the eight passengers and crew aboard the aircraft were injured. The pilot had an "overperforming" indication for his engines, prompting the return to the airport. Las Vegas airport officials scrambled fire trucks and emergency equipment as a precaution.

Later, setting up a party to promote his new movie "Spread", Kutcher tweeted “happy to be alive. lets celebrate.”
