It's The Thrill That'll Getcha When You Get Your Picture....

...In Forbes Magazine (With Apologies To Dr. Hook)

Sonex says it was featured in the October 18th Forbes Magazine. The Life Section Article titled "Skyward!" contains 7 pictures of customer-completed Sonex Aircraft and quotes from Sonex General Manager Jeremy Monnett on the positive financial impact of the new Sport Pilot and Light, Sport Aircraft (LSA) Rules.

These new rules represent a great opportunity for the average person to fly simple aircraft for recreation with less regulation and at a much lower cost. Sonex offers 3 models that meet these new rules including the Sonex, Waiex, and Xenos Aircraft.

The new Sport Pilot/LSA rules also prompted the visit of the FAA Administrator Marion Blakey during AirVenture 2004. She was able to see first hand the Sonex Plans, Sonex Kit Components, AeroVee Dyno, and the production and QA controls utilized by Sonex. She was very complimentary of the Sonex Facilities and on the quality and completeness of the Sonex Plans.

Also, Sonex has begun the construction of a new 5600 square foot facility. This new facility will be used for part inventory and prototype aircraft storage and allows for continued expansion of the Sonex and AeroConversion product lines. We expect to have it completed by the second week of November.
