Piper To Deliver 800th Single-Engine Mirage At Oshkosh

Milestone Airplane Going To Muncie Aviation In Indiana

Piper Aircraft Inc. will deliver the company's milestone 800th M-Class single-engine pressurized Piper Mirage to Muncie Aviation Company at AirVenture in Oshkosh. Muncie Aviation is Piper's dealer for new aircraft, serving Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and southern Illinois.

"The delivery of the 800th Piper Mirage at AirVenture demonstrates its underlying sound economics and appealing performance," said Piper President and CEO Simon Caldecott. "Single-engine Piper M-Class reliable aircraft continue to outperform the competition." The 800th Mirage will be on display at Piper's Oshkosh exhibit.

Muncie President and Sales Manager Martin Ingram said, "The Piper Mirage delivers on the promise of a large cabin class pressurized aircraft with club seating and the amenities of a twin, while it delivers the economies of a single-engine piston." Muncie Aviation offers aircrafts sales, service, avionics and parts along with a flight department. It is located at Delaware County Regional Airport in Muncie, IN.

The six-place Piper Mirage is powered by the Lycoming TIO-540-AE2A 350hp engine and has a 213 KTAS max cruise speed with a range of 1,343 nm. Equipped with the Garmin 1000 avionics suite, its list price is $1,078,875.
