GoJet Airlines Announces Pilot Pathway Program With Spirit Airlines

Pilots Selected For The Program Are Guaranteed A First Officer Position At Spirit Airlines After As Little As Two Years

Flying an Airbus will now be the next step in the career progression of many GoJet Airlines pilots. GoJet has entered into a Pilot Pathway Program with Airbus operator Spirit Airlines that will guarantee GoJet pilots a First Officer position at Spirit in as little as two years. GoJet pilots who are accepted into the Pathway Program will be eligible to transition to Spirit after two years of service.

"This program gives talented pilots a defined career path, along with exceptional earning potential," remarked GoJet Director of Flight Operations Randy Bratcher.

"A direct path to flying a Spirit Airbus aircraft will be incredibly attractive to our pilots," added GoJet Chief Operating Officer Terry Basham. "We believe that the opportunity to fly the Airbus after as little as two years will prove to be an excellent recruiting tool and will facilitate our ongoing mission to hire top aviation talent."

"We are excited about creating a pathway for talented aviators to join the Spirit Team," said Jyri Strandman, DO and VP, Flight Operations of Spirit Airlines. "We believe in working together, and providing progressive opportunities for those innovative and motivated aviators who choose us for their career goal."

Current GoJet pilots with the requisite time in service will be eligible to apply for this program immediately, while new hire pilots may apply as soon as they have completed training.
