Acquisition Expands North American Network To 43 Sites
Landmark Aviation
announced Thursday the finalization of its acquisition of Skyport,
the full-service business aviation FBO at New York's Westchester
County Airport (HPN).
"The addition of Landmark Aviation to the current FBO operators
and corporate jet entities will enhance operations at the
Westchester County Airport," said Salvatore J. Carrera, Westchester
County Director of Real Estate. "We welcome Landmark and the
services that it will provide to clients."
"With the closure of this acquisition, Landmark Aviation expands
the maintenance, repair and FBO services we offer aircraft owners
and operators throughout the New York City area and Northeast
United States," said Landmark Aviation CEO Roger Wolfe. "Landmark's
FBO services at Skyport include fuel, lounges, hangar space, light
airframe and engine maintenance, deicing, oxygen, and aircraft
interior and exterior cleaning. Landmark will continue to invest in
the facility to make Skyport a world-class FBO."
The operation will also serve as a base for Landmark's Mobile
Service Team of technicians, available 24/7 for repairs on-site at
the aircraft, Wolfe said. Landmark MSTs are fully operational, and
support customer maintenance needs in the Northeast US --
eliminating the need for the customer to fly to the maintenance
location.
Terms of the Skyport agreement between Landmark Aviation --
formerly known as Garrett/Piedmont Hawthorne/Associated, and
previous Skyport owner Jet Equity were not disclosed.
