Took Rec Pilot Checkride Less Than One Week After Course
Launched
Less than a week after Sporty's Online Courses were launched,
Carl R. Chen completed his course and received an endorsement from
Sporty's to take his written exam. Things move fast these days...
and Chen recently passed his written and oral tests and his
recreational pilot checkride, making him the first new pilot to
prepare for these tests by using Sporty's Online Courses.
"I am pleased to report that with the Online Course's help, I
scored a 94 percent on the Recreational Pilot written exam," said
Chen. "I definitely feel that I received my money's worth with this
course." Chen added the ability to sign on to his course from any
computer was a definite advantage over having to carry DVDs
around.
Chen plans to continue his flight training towards his Private
Pilot License.
Sporty's Online Courses are able to issue endorsements because
Sporty's can track that the customer has watched all video segments
as well as assess the grade received on a minimum of two practice
tests. Sporty's Academy President Eric Radtke said, "With the
built-in tracking functions of the course, we are able to assure
students' proficiency when we issue the sign-off."
The same 'Triple Guarantee' applies to the Online Course as with
Sporty's DVD course: You're guaranteed to pass the written, oral
and practical test or your money back.
The Recreational Pilot Course [RWEBA] and the Transition to
Private Pilot [TWEBA] are each available for $99; the Private Pilot
Course [PWEBA] is available for $199, and the Instrument Rating
Course is available for $249. Multi-user licensing is available to
flight schools.
