Growing Sales Create Need For Extra Help
Extra Aircraft announced Friday that
Jennifer Hamilton has joined the company as Marketing Director.
Extra Aircraft became a US owned and operated company in 2003 and
is headquartered in Lancaster, PA, with a manufacturing plant in
Germany.
Best known for its aerobatic EA-300L, Extra's product line also
includes the EA-400 and EA-500, business and touring aircraft.
Hamilton will be responsible for all marketing efforts, including
media relations, advertising campaigns, marketing materials
development and air show coordination.
"Jennifer is an accomplished professional and an important
addition to the Extra Aircraft team," said Ken Weaver, president of
Extra Aircraft. "As we continue to expand, Jennifer’s
expertise in marketing and public relations will be invaluable to
our efforts."
Hamilton previously served as a senior account executive for
McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations (MP&F) in Nashville,
TN. During her five years at MP&F, she developed award-winning
marketing communication tools for the U.S. Navy, coordinated events
for Dell Computer Corporation, developed and produced marketing
videos for the American Cancer Society and created strategic
marketing campaigns for the Department of Labor’s Job Corps
program. For her last year and a half at MP&F, she was the
point person for Extra Aircraft’s public relations and
marketing efforts.
Hamilton has an extensive background in broadcast journalism
with experience at various television stations including WTVF-TV
(CBS, Nashville, TN) as a producer and KBMT-TV (ABC, Beaumont, TX)
and KODE-TV (ABC, Joplin, MO) as an investigative journalist. She
received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the
University of Missouri-Columbia in 1991.
