Bombardier Expands Technical Training Agreement With FlightPath International

Toronto-Based Company Appointed Authorized Technical Training Provider (ATTP)

Bombardier has appointed training services provider FlightPath International (FPI) of Toronto as its Authorized Technical Training Provider (ATTP) for all entitlement and recurrent technical training for Bombardier's CRJ Series commercial aircraft and Challenger 850, Challenger 870 and Challenger 890 business jets. The appointment expands on an existing training agreement, under which FPI has worked with Bombardier to provide technical training since 2011.

Under the ATTP agreement, FPI instructors will deliver CRJ and Challenger 850, Challenger 870 and Challenger 890 aircraft technical training courses at their newly opened Toronto facility and at operators' locations, as required. The expanded agreement has already taken effect and Bombardier and FPI are closely working together to ensure a seamless transition for all operators. "Our commitment to put customers first drives our strategy of increasing worldwide availability of high-quality, OEM-approved training for all our aircraft platforms," said Leon Botteron, General Manager, Aircraft Training, Bombardier Aerospace. "FPI has a proven track record, both in working closely with Bombardier's training team to maximize value, and also in providing world-class training in state-of-the-art settings."

"FlightPath has proudly served the Bombardier family of aircraft and their operators for many years," said Andrew Lucas, President, FlightPath International. "Our recent expansion of services will now add even greater flexibility to Bombardier in serving their customers."

In 2011, Bombardier entered into an agreement with FlightPath International to collaborate on identifying and realizing opportunities for Bombardier training solutions for CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900, CRJ1000, Challenger 850, Challenger 870, and Challenger 890 aircraft customers. Since then, FPI has provided instruction at Bombardier training facilities and at customers' facilities, as required.
