Diamond Adds To Its Customer Support Team

Ken Schaelchlin, Brian Baldridge Join Planemaker

Diamond Aircraft announced recently the addition of two leaders to its Customer Support team: Ken Schaelchlin joined Diamond as Director, Customer Support, and Brian Baldridge joins the team as Manager, Tech Services, North America.

"I'm thrilled to announce the addition of Ken and Brian to our growing Customer Support organization. They both bring phenomenal depth to our leadership team in North America which will further enhance delivery of services to our current customer base and ensure a trouble-free entry into service for the D-Jet next year," said Ken Harness, Chief Operating Officer at Diamond.

Schaelchlin brings over 30 years of aviation experience to Diamond Aircraft, with 14 of those years in direct customer support operations. Ken joins Diamond Aircraft from Eclipse Aviation where he established a Service Engineering organization and led an engineering team to address technical issues through production startup and entry into service. He has also held management positions at Pilatus Aircraft North America as both Customer Service Engineering Manager and Customer Support Manager. Mr. Schaelchlin holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Arizona State University.

"I look forward to leading Diamond Aircraft's North American Customer Support organization," said Schaelchlin. "I am excited about the opportunity to use my previous experience to ensure a smooth D-Jet entry into service, enhance support of the current piston fleet, and take Diamond's customer support to the next level."

Brian Baldridge hails from Northern California and comes to Diamond Aircraft with extensive background in piston and jet aircraft General Aviation maintenance with 32 years, 2700 hours of flying experience.

Baldridge holds an FAA Commercial Pilot License, Airframe & Powerplant and Instrument Rating, and a Bachelors degree from California State University.

"It is a great pleasure to be associated with the company manufacturing the most innovative and well-built GA aircraft on the market," says Baldridge. "I am committed to expanding the Tech Services team to provide responsive and precise technical support for our Service Center network and Diamond Aircraft owners."
