Jeppesen, Peters Software Team To Provide EASA Private Pilot Training Materials

Available In E-Book, PC And Printed Formats, Training Material Content Is Continuously Updated

Jeppesen has teamed with training and test preparation software program provider Peters Software to provide private pilot training courseware and materials in Europe.

The Jeppesen EASA Private Pilot training system uses modern pictures, realistic photo graphics and QR codes to access film and audio clips, providing an unparalleled private pilot training suite for European study.  Teaming with Peters Software allows for Jeppesen training materials to be continuously updated, using state of the art database technology.  This process allows for updates to be delivered more efficiently and training programs to remain current with regulatory private pilot guidance.

“Providing multiple delivery platforms and intuitive functionality, Jeppesen private pilot training materials combined with Peters Software leading database technology provides the most current and relevant solution for pilot training,” said Reggie Arsenault, director, Jeppesen General Aviation Client Management. “We are excited to offer private pilot training in the EMEA region, in addition to our established commercial pilot training program developed in coordination with Peters Software.”

The Jeppesen and Peters Software private pilot training program is available for use with various platforms, including e-books, PC and Macintosh computers and printed versions.  The interactive Jeppesen EASA Private Pilot training system technology enhances the learning experience by incorporating multimedia content including video and animations to further extend pilot learning.  Printed books also are produced on-demand, featuring up-to-date training program information, which eliminates bulk quantity material orders that could quickly become obsolete.

The Jeppesen EASA Private Pilot training system contains nearly 1300 pages, organized in nine volumes in the paper version and 13 e-books.  An accompanying exam preparation question database for iPad is also planned to be available as an iTunes app.
