TAP Customers Afforded The Extension, Hot Section Inspection Intervals Also Extended
Williams International is pleased to announce that customers enrolled in its Total Assurance Program (TAP) for engine maintenance will benefit from extended intervals between major periodic inspections (MPI).
The extension allows all FJ44 models to match the latest FJ44-4 engine overhaul interval of 5000 hours. Hot section inspection intervals have been extended to 2500 hours, and can usually be performed on wing. Extension details will be released via service bulletin and then updated into the relevant maintenance manuals.
“We continue to unlock additional value for our customers through our TAP program,” says Gregg Williams, Chairman, CEO, and President of Williams International. “TAP is by far the most comprehensive engine maintenance program in the industry, and with our latest version – TAP Blue – it even covers foreign object damage as well as incorporation of all service bulletins, including optional. This means that our TAP customers benefit continuously from all the durability and reliability enhancements that result from lessons learned from our now 10 million hours of fleet experience and our continued strong investments in the FJ44 product line. It is this extensive coverage coupled with WI’s data mining expertise, which is applied to the data we collect within our TAP engine monitoring program, that has enabled us to significantly extend our MPI’s. We are certain that the resulting reduction in aircraft downtime from this extension will further improve customer
satisfaction and enhance the value of aircraft enrolled in TAP.”
Also, incentives are being offered until the end of this year to assist existing customers to upgrade to TAP Blue, and to encourage new customers to enroll directly into TAP Blue.
