International Women's Aviation Conference Set

Oh To Be In Brussels In The Fall

The International Aviation Women's Association (IAWA) has announced its 21st Annual Conference to held in Brussels  on October 14-16.

The conference is titled "Rendez-Vous in the EU: A New Era of Cooperation", and will focus on aviation in Europe. The program will feature presentations by leaders in the aviation industry on topics which are timely and of professional interest.  We are excited about being in Brussels to discuss the topics of the day: emissions trading, the impact and status of "Open Skies," the European Aviation Safety Agency, policies on passenger data, U.S. and European aviation competition and regulations, new aviation markets, the economic impact on aircraft valuations and financing, and the insurance markets.

The conference will be held at the Bristols Stephanie Hotel. Among those making the event possible are Jackson Walker, NetJets, Ventura, Condon Forsyth, United Airlines, Blackwell Sanders.

Information on registration for the Conference, and hotel accommodations, can be found on the IAWA website.

The International Aviation Women's Association is an organization of women of achievement from all sectors of the aviation and aerospace industries, including airports, airlines, manufacturing, finance, insurance, legal and government.  IAWA was formed to promote the advancement of women in aviation globally.
