Airborne 04.15.19: Stratolaunch!, SpaceIL Heartbreak, 1st Flt-Flaris 1

The gigantic Stratolaunch program, envisioned and spearheaded by the late Paul G. Allen, has successfully completed the first flight of the world’s largest all-composite aircraft. With a dual fuselage design and wingspan greater than the length of an American football field, the Stratolaunch aircraft took flight at 0658 PDT, Saturday,  from the Mojave Air & Space Port. Achieving a maximum speed of 189 miles per hour, the plane flew for 2.5 hours over the Mojave Desert at altitudes up to 17,000 feet. Aeroterm Announces New Air Cargo Expansion At KMIA

Tenant Is World's Largest Express Transportation Company, FedEx Express

 Aeroterm has announced an agreement with Miami-Dade County for the expansion of its air cargo facility at Miami International Airport (KMIA). Aeroterm holds a ground lease at MIA and leases the facility to FedEx Express. The agreement to extend the Aeroterm ground lease and expand the facility was approved by the County Commission on March 19th.
