Is There An 'Exit Plan' For TSA?

Coalition for Luggage Security Asks For A TSA ''Exit Plan'' From Our Airports

The Coalition for Luggage Security comments on increased stories highlighting airport, luggage security and travelers inconveniences caused by increased problems created due to security issues. The Coalition sees a correlation between recent American exit discussions and why shouldn't there be a TSA exit plan? Was their presence to be forever?

"The TSA has aggressively moved into our airports, and hampered the productivity, functionality and profitability of our airlines. Today's articles show how American freedoms are being stripped away daily. Billions of dollars are being irresponsibly spent on experimentally flawed systems for which the American people are paying," said Richard A. Altomare, Founder and President of the Coalition for Luggage Security, and CEO of Universal Express, Inc.

"American's should be made aware of the growing problems, lack of unchecked fiduciary responsibilities, and daily infringement on their rights as citizens and travelers. A creative solution to all of these problems can be found in our position paper (www.usxp.com/securitywp.pdf).

Today (Wednesday) we've listed several recent articles to emphasis the troubling nature of our current system, and to highlight the need for a TSA exit plan from our airports. In order to bring about awareness of the need for a new luggage and security system that will benefit everyone, travelers, airlines, airports and taxpayers should demand a system that will improve the quality of air and luggage security in a responsible manner. They took control of our airports, when will they be returning them to non-governmental control?" concluded Mr. Altomare.

The Coalition for Luggage Security was established to ensure the safety of travelers through alternate means of luggage transportation. The Coalition consists of prominent businesspersons and companies that educate the public, Congress and the Administration on the importance of solving the luggage and cargo safety issues that exist in airlines and airports.
