ForeFlight Offers Simple Steps For Complex Flight Planning

Latest Version Included Enhancements For Scenario Planning, JetFuelX, Flight Plans

The latest version of ForeFlight enables users to quickly evaluate what-if scenarios with just a few taps. A few examples are if the user is confronted with the need to explore the impact of taking more or less fuel, last minute aircraft changes due to maintenance, or a situation where more passengers than expected arrive. If any adjustments to fuel and payload fields are made or a different aircraft is selected,  ForeFlight automatically recalculates weight, and fuel requirements in a matter of seconds.

Users can also start planning in Flights, or plan a route in the Maps view and use the ‘Send To’ button to prime a new entry in Flights. When you’re ready to file, tap ‘Proceed to File’ – ForeFlight automatically copies the details from your flight over to the filing form. After you file, ForeFlight sends a push notification to your device when your flight plan is acknowledged by ATC. You can cancel and amend IFR plans and activate and close VFR plans.

From the Flights view, print or email your navlog trip sheet and track actual performance against planned. Includes flight and fuel summary information, TOC, TOD, synthetic waypoints along track, a wind and temperature aloft table for quick reference, and more.

ForeFlight’s high-performance planning features are available on the web. Plan your route online using the map, with any changes you make automatically updating the flights form. Access, edit, and create new aircraft profiles, or create a custom performance profile for future planning online or in the app if ForeFlight doesn’t provide a pre-configured profile for your aircraft. Everything you do on the web instantly syncs to your mobile device, so you can move from your desktop to the cockpit without missing a beat.

JetFuelX is the simple and fast way to manage multiple fuel card memberships. Log in with your existing ForeFlight credentials for a convenient way to display contract fuel prices directly on ForeFlight’s Maps view.
