First Three Pre-Production Vehicles Ready For Assembly Beginning In October
PAL-V has opened a new hall for the assembly of the first PAL-V Libertys. Initially the hall will be used for the production of the first three pre-production vehicles. With the first parts already in stock, PAL-V will start the final assembly in October this year. First production will start in the course of 2018. Since the commercial launch in 2017 the list of reservations is growing fast. Because of the high demand for the PAL-V Liberty, PAL-V expects to expand the initial capacity rather soon to keep pace with market growth.
PAL-V was very pleased to welcome the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) team at our headquarters in the Netherlands. EASA supervises the airworthiness certification process of the PAL-V Liberty as well as its organizational certification for design and production. By working closely together with one of the two world's leading regulatory authorities, the PAL-V Liberty complies with the existing regulations of most countries in the world and meets the very high standards set by EASA. FAA is aligned with EASA for this.
The PAL-V Liberty will be world's first EASA certified gyroplane meeting these standards, another world premiere for the PAL-V Liberty.
PAL-V will exhibit the PAL-V One and the full scale model of the PAL-V Liberty during Pentecost weekend (June 3 - 5) in Sylt, Germany. We invite you to come and have a look at the PAL-V One and the PAL-V Liberty. During these days we provide our customers with a FlyDrive Experience. You can find us near the general aviation terminal at Sylt Airport. If you are interested, please contact us.
