Cessna Says It Is Well-Positioned For Growth Of Middle East Markets

Remarks At Dubai Airshow Express Optimism

Trevor Esling, Cessna vice president for International Sales, said Monday at the Dubai Airshow that the company’s range of Citation business aircraft is well-positioned to meet the needs of the Middle East over the coming years.

“In common with most markets, the Middle East has felt the impact of the financial crisis," Esling said. "However, the region’s dynamic economies will continue to grow through their ambitious development plans. As this process accelerates once more, business aviation will be an important enabler for rising prosperity."

“The Citation range is ideal for the region’s new commercial leaders," he continued. "Customers are increasingly balancing their wish for the time-saving advantages of business aviation with a pragmatic assessment of cost. Cessna fares extremely well under this analysis, with our wide range of light and mid-size jets combining comfort, performance and value. Whether an owner is looking for short-range regional transportation with our entry-level Citation Mustang or rapid intercontinental travel with a Citation X, Cessna is able to provide an ideal and compelling solution.”
