Bombardier's Challenger 300 Enters Service With XOJET

New Aircraft On Static Display At NBAA 2008

Bombardier Aerospace recently announced XOJET’s first Challenger 300 aircraft has entered service. Bombardier and XOJET executives were on hand to mark the delivery and the aircraft’s debut at NBAA 2008 in Orlando, FL.

"We announced XOJET’s record order for up to 80 Challenger 300 jets at NBAA 2007 and today, just one year later, we are highlighting the first Challenger 300 jet to join the XOJET fleet," said Bob Horner, senior vice-president, sales Bombardier Business Aircraft. "This business jet is the benchmark for performance, reliability and cabin comfort in the super midsize category. It is a true mark of confidence that XOJET has selected to invest in this amazing aircraft and today we share their excitement in welcoming their first Challenger 300 jet into service."

As ANN reported, XOJET placed firm orders for 20 Challenger 300 jets and options for an additional 60 at NBAA 2007, marking the largest single Challenger 300 jet order in Bombardier Business Aircraft history. To date, XOJET has converted four of these additional Challenger 300 aircraft options to firm orders, two in Bombardier’s second quarter and two in the current third quarter of this fiscal year.

"Our Challenger 300 aircraft interiors feature leading edge technology and sophisticated designs that highlight convenience and in-flight productivity," said David Miller, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, XOJET, Inc. "The Challenger 300 jet truly redefines luxury for the super midsize segment and now XOJET customers can experience the outstanding performance and comfort of this incredible aircraft firsthand."

Founded in 2006, XOJET is already one of the world’s fastest growing private aviation companies, built on a unique business model that combines private jet ownership, leasing and on-demand travel and a single focus on providing the highest level of customer service at every point of the client’s experience. The company recently secured $2.46 billion for fleet expansion.

XOJET’s Challenger 300 jet will be open for viewing at the NBAA 2008 static display at Orlando Executive Airport throughout the show.
