LOPA 2005 Spring Fly-In

Lancairs Flock To The Desert

This is THE event for folks who like to travel in fast company. It promises to be an interesting weekend in Scottsdale, AZ, late next month, as the Lancair Owners and Pilots Association stages a fly-in at Scottsdale Airport.

Fly-In organizers promise Spring in Scottsdale is fabulous (we've been there and we agree) -- it boasts average temperatures in the 60s and almost always clear skies). Combine that with the presentations planned (Walter Atkinson and George Braly from Advanced Pilot Seminars, Chief Pilot Scott Marti and National Sales Director Mike Schrader from The Lancair Company, plus their own J. Robert Moss and Steve Demy) and the LOPA fly-in looks like it'll be both fun and informative.

For spouses and guests who don't thrive on discussing the intricate details of engines and airframes, there will be plenty of social gatherings, shopping excursions and more.

Organizers promise the meals should be events to remember. They include an authentic old west sundown cookout and a spectacular group flight to the Red Rocks in Sedona for lunch.

Scottsdale is a popular place in the Spring, so make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. LOPA has secured a discounted rate at two hotels in the area. When booking at either one, mention the Corporate Jets/LOPA discount to get the reduced rate.
