Avidyne Names Its 2008 'Elite' Dealers

Company Expanding Aftermarket Presence

Avionics manufacturer Avidyne announced this week its qualifying domestic dealers for "Avidyne Elite" status as part of its Tiered Dealer Program. Avidyne Elite is the highest level in Avidyne's dealer program, signifying the company's most qualified and active installation facilities.

To qualify for Elite status, these dealers must engage in a series of business and operating requirements with Avidyne each quarter. This includes maintaining a minimum of two technicians trained and certified on all Avidyne products through Avidyne's comprehensive Technical Training & Best Installation Practices Program, actively co-marketing with Avidyne by participating in at least two Avidyne Field Marketing Programs each quarter, and fulfilling a quarterly revenue requirement.

In return, Elite dealers enjoy a series of benefits and entitlements, inclusive of a quarterly backend rebate, that allows them to continue to accelerate their businesses by selling Avidyne avionics solutions.

"Announcing Avidyne's 2008 Elite Dealers is the culmination of a series of investments we have made company-wide to provide a differentiated business experience for our dealers and joint customers," said Rob Higby, vice president, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. "By better preparing, equipping and rewarding partners that actively engage with us, we are helping make it easier to do business with Avidyne so our partners can focus on what's really important – growing their businesses and providing the highest level of service to our mutual customers."

"In addition to being the highest trained and most active and experienced, Avidyne Elite dealers have access to co-operative marketing dollars and other factory-to-dealer incentives that reward them for their commitment to supporting Avidyne," Tom Harper, Avidyne's director of Marketing. "We congratulate our domestic Elite dealers, and look forward to kicking off our Tiered Dealer Program internationally in 2009."

Currently, Avidyne is partnered with over 500 dealers and distributors worldwide. In addition to qualifying for Elite status, Avidyne dealers also have the ability to become Preferred or Certified dealers, which require similar training and certification requirements, with a lower overall sales and marketing threshold.
