AgustaWestland Launches AW139 Reliability Data Sharing Group (RDSG)

Will Focus On Aircraft Component Reliability Analysis

At the recent Customer Advisory Board (CAB) AgustaWestland launched a dedicated Reliability Data Sharing Group (RDSG). This is to focus on AW139 component reliability analysis, allowing us to provide AW139 Customers with the most reliable data.

This initiative, developed by the AW139 Product Support Engineering group, further enhances the level of service that AgustaWestland provides to the AW139 Customers/Operators; and represents a new milestone in the after sales services for the commercial rotorcraft community.

The RDSG program main objectives are:

  • To collate the best available data to create a common components reliability database.
  • To share the reliability data amongst the AW139 Customers/Operators community for enhanced accuracy in spares planning.
  • Allow the monitoring of the reliability of product improvements introduced into the AW139 fleet.

The AW139 Reliability Data Sharing Group (RDSG) program is open to all Customers/Operators and establishes a monthly exchange of data with periodic meetings, the outcome from the groups data will also be used as an input to drive reliability & maintainability improvements within the AW Product Improvement initiatives.

The first web-conference will be held on April 15th, 2015.
