Signs Of The Times... Affordable S/E Air Taxi Ops Continue To
Show Progress
proair
charter tells ANN that it will be fielding an FAA-approved
SR22-based Air-Taxi (on-demand) operation, while operating under
its Rite Way Aircraft operating certificate.
proair charter's choice of Cirrus SR22s make for a compelling
argument during tough times for on-demand operators. proair notes
that its aircraft have conformed to the obligatory and very
stringent FAA inspections and its pilots meet similarly rigorous
requirements for safety.
proair also notes that the SR22's spacious cabin is a relaxing
atmosphere of ergonomic comfort in a climate-controlled
environment. Oversize doors allow for easy entry and exit and
leather seats make each flight a relaxing experience. The SR22 is
the first and only one of its kind to have a safety feature known
as CAPS, or Cirrus Airframe Parachute System. This whole-airplane
parachute system lowers the entire airplane (and its occupants)
safely to the ground in the unlikely event of a situation where
this peace-of-mind option is required. proair claims that, 'It is
hard to beat the performance of a Cirrus SR22 with a typical
cruising speed of over 200 miles per hour, a range of over 1,000
miles, and plenty of room for three passengers and the pilot.'
"This conformity of these aircraft to our operating certificate
means that our aircraft have met the federal governments rigorous
safety and maintenance standards, thereby allowing businesses and
the traveling professional to hire our airplanes and pilots to take
them where they need to go on a schedule that meets their needs",
said Jeffery Cullen, President of proair charter.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, proair charter offers service
throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and New
Mexico.
