Diamond Aircraft Is A HUGE Part Of
AirVenture 2009, Visit Their Display At Areas #235-246
There will be much to
see at Diamond's exhibit at EAA AirVenture 2009, Oshkosh,
Wisconsin, July 27 to August 2.
"We're excited to be displaying this year, with a larger exhibit
than ever before. Our new central location is perfect for
showcasing the entire Diamond line-up," said Peter Maurer,
President of Diamond Aircraft.
"Our D-JET mock-up, refurbished to reflect the production
configuration cockpit and cabin, will join D-JET S/Ns 002 and 003,
the latter powered by the more powerful Williams International
FJ33-5a turbofan engine. Two newly certified DA42 twins will be
there -- the 360 hp Lycoming powered DA42 L360, and shown for
the first time in North America, the DA42 NG with Diamond¹s
proprietary Austro Engine AE300 powerplants is expected to be a
major attraction. There will also be several versions of DA40s and
DA20s. We are pleased to again offer the Diamond Austria HK36
motorglider, back after several years¹ absence from the US
market and featuring many improvements."
Diamond will also be revealing a new configuration of the DA20,
on Monday July 27, that is sure to create lots of buzz, especially
with flight schools and sport flyers.
"We encourage all pilots to visit the Diamond booth to see
general aviation¹s broadest range of modern certified
airplanes that lead the industry in safety and innovation," Peter
Maurer added. "In addition to expert sales consultants, we have
financing and taxation experts from Airfleet Capital and Advocate
Consulting on site, to advise you on any potential acquisition, now
or in future."
ANN is proud to have friends like Diamond Aircraft to help us
bring you coverage of the 2009 Oshkosh Fly-In. Each Diamond
Aircraft is a testimony to efficiency in design. Not a line is
wasted; not a curve is out of place. From the elegant DA20, and its
roots in gliders... to the larger DA40 four-place birds... and the
gorgeous DA42, with choice of Lycoming or
Austro Engine powerplants, the bigger/faster DA50, and (not
to mention... ) the D-Jet, these planes live up to their 'Diamond'
moniker.
