Art Manni Joins Aviation Consulting Group
Downing Aviation Associates (DAA )
announced Monday at NBAA 2006 that Art Manni, a veteran
aerospace executive with an extensive background in business
development and leadership roles at both Honeywell and Pratt &
Whitney of Canada, has joined the Phoenix, AZ-based consulting firm
as a Senior Associate.
"Over the course of his career, Art Manni has demonstrated
effective and creative leadership in a variety of roles,
including application engineering, product line management, joint
venture, merger and acquisition support," noted Darrel Downing,
DAA's CEO. "Art's broad knowledge of the industry and
well-established working relationships will add significantly to
the value of service and support we offer our clients."
Representatives with DAA tell Aero-News Manni brings a solid
record of strategic leadership in both the domestic and global
markets to his new role. Following a long tenure at Honeywell and
its predecessor, AlliedSignal, he was named vice president of sales
and business development at Eagle Picher Technologies in
Phoneix.
Immediately prior to joining DAA, he served as Vice President
and General Manager of the Defense division of AmSafe, Inc.
Established in 2001, DAA specializes in providing focused
consulting and contract services for business and Rregional
Aviation clients. It offers experienced technical, marketing,
business and contract management resources to both startup and
established aviation firms.
