Yep... another busy week... so let's get on with Airborne! Pipistrel is proving itself to be an amazing company... again and again. Just a couple of weeks after introducing its new four-place hybrid “Panthera” airplane, Pipistrel has taken the wraps off of its brand new Alpha Trainer ... which as the name suggests, is designed as a primary training airplane.
Hawker Beechcraft has announced that it has reached an agreement with a significant number of its senior secured lenders and senior bondholders on the terms of a financial restructuring plan that will strengthen the company for the future and eliminate approximately $2.5 billion in debt and approximately $125 million of annual cash interest expense. Piper Aircraft dealers in Europe have noted a sales trend toward new, more fuel-efficient business aircraft -- a trend that seems to be playing right into Piper’s product line based on recent strong sales performance. We have ALL this and SO MUCH MORE in this week's edition of AIRBORNE!
As always, PLEASE keep sending us your feedback and ideas... you have no idea how important that is to us as we evolve the Airborne mission. As we listen to your critiques, we're getting a far better idea as to how to tweak and fine-tune future Airborne programming to fit your needs. We think you're going to like what we have in mind for the future.
