Rapco Fleet Support Wins FAA/PMA OK For Falcon 20 Brakes

Parts May Be Used On Aircraft In Place Of OEM Components

Rapco Fleet Support, Inc. (RFS) of Hartland, WI tells ANN it has been awarded a Parts
Manufacturer Approval (PMA) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its replacement brake components for Dassault Falcon 20 aircraft, equipped with ABSC (Goodyear) brakes.

RFS brake parts can now be used on all Falcon 20’s in place of the original equipment
on a part-for-part basis without restriction. PMA allows for full interchangeability and intermix with the original ABSC brake parts. RFS earned their FAA/PMA by subjecting their design to hundreds of cycles on a brake dynamometer AND by conducting a FAA mandated aircraft flight test which included wet water runway braking tests and maximum weight rejected take-offs.

“Operators of Falcon 20’s now have an option when purchasing replacement brakes. RFS’s FAA approved brake parts offer superior quality at a substantial savings over the original equipment,” said Rusty Keagle, director of sales and product development for RFS.

The company presently manufactures replacement steel brake parts for a variety of corporate aircraft including Learjet, Hawkers, Citations and King Airs. They also manufacture commuter brake parts for Beech 1900, B99, EMB-120, Jetstream J-31 and Metroliners.

All of their products are completely manufactured in the United States.
