High-Definition-Capable Displays For UltiChart Maps
AeroComputers recently announced the addition of Dual Screen
Displays to the AC line of Ultra High-Resolution Display-Monitors.
Created to meet the growing need for high definition capable
displays, the dual displays are among a variety of options offered
by AeroComputers for dedicated viewing of maps and video.
"Through our close work with the largest law enforcement and
public safety agencies in the US, we realized a dual screen display
would truly improve aircrew safety and efficiency," said Mark
Gassaway, President of AeroComputers. "The tactical airborne
environment can be one of the harshest and most disorienting places
to conduct business. Our technologies simplify the task load for
crews, and the dual screen displays give aircrews an
advantage."
The new AeroComputers Dual Screen Displays seamlessly integrate
with the UltiChart Tactical Mapping System, and offer enhanced
situational awareness, ultimate flexibility in configuration, and
superior redundancy at a lower price than individual displays.
Additionally, the dual displays feature extremely durable powder
coated billet aluminum enclosures, extra-bright backlights,
anti-reflective enhancements and optional NVG filtering,
consistently used by tactical airborne mission operators.
Available in a range of sizes, all dual displays are available
with an extremely accurate touch-screen option to facilitate the
selection of targets. The new dual displays also allow in-flight
flexibility to view multiple inputs. Users can easily transition
between the moving map, IR/camera system, computer aided dispatch
(MDT) software or other sources based on mission requirements.
