John Wolf Joins Adam Aircraft Board Of Directors

Will Serve As Lead Director And Board Liaison

This week, Adam Aircraft welcomed newly elected Board member John Wolf as the Lead Director and Board Liaison. Representatives with Adam state Wolf will provide direction from the Board and will be an active contributor to company operations.

Wolf (shown at right) has over 30 years experience in government and commercial aerospace. He has worked at companies including Fairchild Aerospace Corporation, Teledesic Corporation, and McDonnell Douglas Corporation.

"Having someone of John's caliber join the Adam Aircraft team bodes well for us as a company. His role on the board will add significant aircraft manufacturing and certification experience," stated Adam Aircraft founder and CEO Rick Adam.

Wolf gained the majority of his aviation experience while working at McDonnell Douglas Corporation for over 34 years. He began his career in various engineering and project management positions on missiles and space projects in McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Company in St. Louis, MO. He was named Vice President, General Manager of McDonnell Douglas Electronics Company and then Executive Vice President of McDonnell Aircraft Company responsible for engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and human resources for all military airplanes.

Wolf became Sr. Vice President of Douglas Aircraft Company in 1989, and was responsible for program management of various commercial aircraft and launch of the MD-95 (later renamed the Boeing 717.)

Prior to his retirement in 2002, Wolf served as Fairchild Dornier Corporation's Chief Operating Officer in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany and was responsible for the development, launch and manufacturing of various commercial aircraft from 30-100 passengers. Wolf has a BSEE, MSEE and Doctor of Engineering (Honoris Causa) from the University of Missouri, Rolla.

Wolf joins new Adam Aircraft president Duncan Koerbel, whose appointment was also announced this week.
