President Trump Was Spending The Weekend At The Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ

NORAD F-16 fighters intercepted two GA airplanes Friday that strayed into restricted airspace around he Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ where President Donald Trump was spending the weekend.

Fox News reports that the two separate incidents occurred at 7:30 and 8:00 p.m., respectively. The aircraft reportedly stopped communicating with ATC before entering the TFR zone surrounding the golf resort. NORAD confirms that in both incidents, the pilots reestablished communications with controllers and exited the restricted airspace without incident.

The VIP Movement TFR was in effect from Friday at 1700 to Sunday at 1745 local time.

During Trump's previous visit to the resort July 19-21, a small GA airplane was intercepted by the U.S. Air Force for a TFR violation That plane landed at an airport in PIttstown, NJ, where it was met by local law enforcement who interviewed the pilot.

President Trump returned to Washington Sunday, but he is scheduled to return to the resort Thursday for his annual 10-day vacation, according to Fox News.
