This Is Where You Can Help
OK, we're not a blog, so we can't bleg (which is what happens
when a blog begs -- get it?) But we are a news site, and we strive
mightily to bring you news that's balanced not only with respect to
the viewpoints we present (in part by extending an open offer of
the Aero-Views soap box to anyone with something to get off his
chest), but also balanced across a wide range of aviation
interests.
And we're just dying for GA news here. Maybe it's the crummy
weather, maybe we all have seasonal affective disorder, maybe it's
just cyclical, but we really want more stories about general
aviation, aviation training, experimental aviation, and sport
aviation than we're hearing about.
We could have military stories from one side to another of our
site, but while we're mostly vets here and all big military buffs,
it's not all we're interested in. We could have airline stuff from
here to any inconvenient hub you could name, and space stuff? To
infinity -- and beyond, as Buzz Lightyear says. But our hearts are
also in the part of aviation that has wings and wheels and
propellers. And maybe not any radio.
We know we don't know everything. (That's what Rumsfeld would
call the known unknown). But we also know that, taken together, our
readers know just about everything. We just don't know what they
know (call that the unknown known, then). The point of which
is:
If you know about something in General Aviation that you think
is pretty neat and that our writers ought to know about, TELL US
about it -- we bleg you.
