Voyager Software Chosen As Flight Planner For Eclipse's JetComplete Program

Seattle Avionics Software announced Thursday that Eclipse Aviation has chosen an Eclipse-specific version of the Voyager Flight Software System as the exclusive flight planning solution to be used by pilots participating in the Eclipse JetComplete program.

The special JetComplete version of Voyager will not only be tuned for needs of jet pilots -- Eclipse 500 pilots in particular -- but also have unique collaboration features that allow the pilot and the Eclipse Flight Support Briefer to jointly review and create flight plans.

"We looked at all the flight planning products on the market and chose Voyager because it’s a sophisticated, easy to use program that’s straightforward to customize for our needs," said Bill Caswell, director of Customer Products and Services at Eclipse Aviation.

"We’re extremely pleased to be working with Eclipse. They’re an exciting, dynamic company with people that are changing the aviation industry. With their assistance, Voyager will be better suited to jet and high-performance aircraft use and the new Voyager Briefer version opens up many new possibilities for us," said Steve Podradchik, CEO of Seattle Avionics Software.

Founded in 2002, Seattle Avionics Software is a developer of PC and PDA-based aviation software for general and business aviation pilots.

The company’s Voyager Flight Software System was recently selected as a Product of the Year for 2005 by Aero-News.
