Pentastar Aviation To Manage Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service

EC-135 Will Be Based At Oakland County (MI) International Airport

Pentastar Aviation has been selected as a provider of management services and direct air carrier operations for Superior Air-Ground Ambulance’s EC-135 helicopter. The aircraft will be based at Oakland County International Airport (KPTK), with operations primarily supporting the Henry Ford Health System.

Superior’s helicopter operations provide transport for trauma, cardiac, neurological, critical care and pediatric patients in southeast Michigan. “We are privileged to have Pentastar providing 135 services for our operation,” said David B. Hill, Superior Air Ground Ambulance Service President.  “Pentastar’s extensive experience provides us the utmost confidence that our missions will be safe and secure.”

“Superior’s mission is to provide professional, competent, compassionate patient care and transportation, with an endless dedication and commitment to safety and efficiency, which are values shared by Pentastar Aviation,” said Greg Schmidt, President & CEO, Pentastar Aviation. “We are pleased to support an organization that provides such an important service to the community.”

Pentastar’s operations revolve around a steadfast commitment to safety. They employ a robust safety management system, carry a Stage 2 IS-BAO Registration, and Pentastar Aviation Charter, Inc. holds a Wyvern Wingman designation and ARG/US Platinum Rating.
