Microsoft FlightSim Compatible MegaScenery USA Volume 3:
Northern California
Ready for "true-to-life
scenery of San Francisco, Sacramento and Surrounding Areas" for
Microsoft Flight Simulator? I mean, ya gotta do something when the
scud is hanging so low that local birds are making
reservations on Amtrak, and a bit of PC Aviating might just do the
trick. MegaScenery publisher, PC Aviator, has issued the third
volume of MegaScenery – the groundbreaking visual scenery
series for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The third title will be MegaScenery Northern California and
features San Francisco, Sacramento and surrounding areas and will
enable Flight Simulator pilots to soar the skies above one of the
world’s most beautiful cities, with one of the world’s
most beautiful harbors, located in some of the world’s most
visually spectacular terrain – San Francisco and Northern
California.
MegaScenery Northern California features over 38,000 square
miles of Northern Californian scenery - mountains, valleys, and
rolling hills - includes Sacramento, the capital of California.
38,000 square miles makes it a mammoth project at over 2.5 times
the size of previous volumes.
Like the previous titles, MegaScenery Northern California
features “real” night scenery for the area plus all of
the real world aeronautical charts required to fly the scenery
[like a pilot] and to identify all of the major landmarks the
scenery contains.
MegaScenery USA 2004: Northern California is
scheduled for release in early January 2004. The Lite version will
be priced at $29.95 and the Full Kit will be $39.95.
