Galaxy FBOs Now Have An 'App'

Mobile Aero-Device Revolution Gains Support From FBO Chain

Galaxy Aviation and Boca Aviation has launched a mobile web-app for smart phones. The pilot resource nicknamed, 'Galaxy Mobile Co-Pilot' is a smart phone application for pilot or flight crews on the go. Utilizing the Mobile Co-Pilot web-app, flight crews can make arrival reservations, reserve hotel rooms and even order catering. A complete guide to all six of Galaxy/Boca Aviation bases includes pertinent airport information from runway layouts, radio frequencies and real time local NEXRAD coverage.

Mark Wantshouse, President of Galaxy Aviation, stated that, “this new web site is a very powerful tool that conveniently puts all of our dedicated employees and facilities at our client’s fingertips where and when they need us.” Arrival reservations and service requests can be made on the go. Quick-turn requests, fuel orders and passenger handling requirements are easily transmitted and confirmed with the Mobile Co-Pilot.

Galaxy notes that pilots are utilizing smart phones more and more each day and that now hotel reservations, crew rates and rental information are just a click away. Flight logistics planning for today, or a week from now, can be accomplished on your smart phone with the Galaxy Aviation Mobile Co-Pilot.
