The Honda Aero HF120 turbofan engine that powers the HondaJet and other customers' aircraft has been issued a PART 21 Production Certificate from the FAA.

Initial production of the HF120 engines took place at GE's Lynn facility in Massachusetts. Now, GAMA has recognized and congratulated the VAC on flying their 10,000th passenger. Much like everyone in the RC model aircraft business, NASA now has an electric flight project. It’s called the Leading Edge Asynchronous Propeller Technology, known as the LEAPTech. Over the next several months, NASA researchers will perform ground testing of a 31-foot-span, carbon composite wing section with 18 electric motors powered by lithium-iron phosphate batteries. All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
